  • Mark Your Calendars! Overloaded & Underprepared: Strategies for Stronger Schools and Healthy, Successful Kids. Dr. Denise Pope, co-founder of Stanford’s Challenge Success Program will be speaking in the CHS Performing Arts Center on Thursday, September 15th at 7 pm. To provide a warm-up to her topic here is a quote from the Challenge Success Program: “At Challenge Success, we believe that our society has become too focused on grades, test scores, and performance, leaving little time for kids to develop the necessary skills to become resilient, ethical, and motivated learners.” This event is co-sponsored by Carmel Unified and the Carmel Public Library Foundation.  Please see this flyer for more details.  We hope to see you there!
